Under President Joe Biden, the southern border has seen an unprecedented surge in unauthorized entries. In his first year alone, the U.S. Border Patrol encountered over 1.6 million migrants at the U.S.-Mexico border—more than four times the previous year's figures and the highest annual total ever recorded.
